    1. Complete spinning and extrusion plant for the production of PA 6 H4S polyamide multifilaments FDY (nylon 6).

  3. Raw Material Handling
    1. Two silos for chips storage, complete with electronic and manual valves and electronic deviators, for transportation of chips in nitrogen gas pressurized; plus two mini-silos for emergency feeding of chips from big-bag.
    2. Pneumatic transportation of chips inside nitrogen gas by two Delta-Screw air compressors complete with dryers and condensers.
    3. Small chips-feeding silos with electronic sensor for temperature and humidity control: two per extruder on each line.
  4. Extruders
    1. Barmag Polimer's extruders model 9E10 and 7E10; effective screw length 24xD; extrusion height 500 mm and 420 mm; granulate feeding housing water cooled; sealing for nitrogen pressure of max. 90 mm water column; nitrated surface; LTM pin mixer nitrated surface; total installed cylinder heating capacity 31 kW and 21.3 kW; total installed fan capacity for cylinder cooling 0.9 kW (48.7 m³/min) and 0.27 kW (21 m³/min); chips temperature at extruder outlet 20°C; melt temperature at extruder outlet ≥270°C; melt viscosity 100 Pa·s at 290°C; melt pressure at extruder outlet max. 180 bar; AEG asynchronous motor 49 kW and 34 kW, protection class IP44, protection sensor thermic switch-off.

  5. Melt Measurement
    1. Measuring head heating dowtherm-vapor, coarse filter in the filling heated: one per extruder.
    2. Dynisco melt pressure sensor type MDA 422, pressure range 0-350 bar, output signal 4-20 mA: two per measuring head.
    3. Melt temperature sensor type double Pt100 in 3-wire system: one per measuring head.
  6. Polymer Distribution
    1. Manifold polymer distributor, heating dowtherm vapor; total number outlets: line A direct 1 x spinning line with 12 outlets; line B direct 1 x spinning line with 12 outlets; line C direct 1 x spinning line with 6 outlets; line D direct 1 x spinning line with 6 outlets.
    2. Kenics polymer mixers, static type, total positions 42; line A: two behind the first distributor and one every arm of the manifold, 14 per line; line B: two behind the first distributor and one every arm of the manifold, 14 per line; line C: one in the main pipe and one every arm of the manifold, 7 per line; line D: one in the main pipe and one every arm of the manifold, 7 per line.
    3. Polymer valves freezing type, position welded in the arms of manifold; freezing unit operation with quick connector couplings with ball valve for air inlet and sound absorber for air outlet; freezing medium 6 bar compressed air; one unit per line.
  7. Spinning Heads
    1. Spinning heads type SP4B/6; one spinning head equals two spinning positions; bottom loading spinning heads with bent tube pump blocks to adapt self-sealing spin packs and planetary gear pumps as metering pumps with vertical pump drive; protective gas blanketing provided; connection to manifold with flanged for polymer, welded for dowtherm vapor heated; operating temperature max. 319°C (592.15 K), max. 2.5 bar over pressure; metal sheet covered insulation; stuffing material rock wool with diamond spinnerets.

  8. Melt Pressure and Temperature Sensors

    2. Combined pressure/temperature sensor between spinning pump and spin pack, Dynisco type TDT 4634, including single Pt100/3 wires, pressure 0-500 bar, temperature range 0-350°C, output signal 4-20 mA, behind spinning pump at first spinning position counted from left hand side of machine: one per line.
