Description

  1. Overview
    1. Inventory number: E-5515
    2. Complete polyester filament yarn spinning and texturizing plant for sale.
    3. This plant is complete spinning/texturizing from chips to a 10 kg textured package as the texturizing machines are fitted with APS take-up-cradles.
    4. The spinning plant can be sold separate.
    5. The spinning plant is of modular construction consisting of three floors - the top floor being 45 feet from the ground level. (Modular construction means the machinery is housed in a steel frame).
    6. This plant is ideal to produce (DTY) from chips to a textured package, and with the texturizing machines having A.P.S take-up-cradles he will be able to produce up to a 10 kg package with excellent dynamic performance under all conditions, with package vibration virtually eliminated. This in turn allows construction of packages totally optimized for ultimate unwinding performance with minimum helix angle and maximum axial disturbance.

  11. POY Plant Layout and Process
    1. The POY plant is on three floors, the top floor being 45 ft high.
    2. Ground floor spinning plant = 3,355 sq ft.
    3. On the ground floor there is a chips feeding funnel where the chips in bags are fed.
    4. Then a blower blows the chips into a silo on the top floor.
    5. From the silo the chips go to the crystalizer (agitator type) which is on the second floor.
    6. After the crystalizer to the dryers which are on the first and ground floor.
    7. From the dryer the chips go to a silo on top of the extruder which is on the second floor.
    8. Through the extruder to the CPF (continuous polymer filter).
    9. Then from CPF to the manifold onto the spinning beam which incorporates the spinning pumps.
    10. From the spinning beam to the spinneret packs, then the yarn goes through the quench air which is on the first floor.
    11. Onto the take-up-winders which is on the ground floor.
    12. Now you have P.O.Y. packages ready to be taken by trolleys to the texturizing machine to produce your DTY packages.
