  1. Overview
    1. From carding through combing and spinning for linen and viscose mixes.
    2. Yarns are manufactured with twist for weaving or knitting.
    3. Composed of two lines: one for fine yarns (55 mm ring Marzoli) and one for coarse yarns (64 mm James Mackie).
    4. Production running 12 hours per day is 15 tons.
    5. It is possible also to produce tops of pure linen, pure viscose or mixes of these two since there are two carding lines with an approximate capacity of 100 kg per hour.
  2. Yarn Types And Metric Counts
    1. 100% linen: 1/7, 1/8.5, 1/9.5, 1/11.
    2. Linen and viscose mixes: 1/7 (85% linen and 15% viscose), 1/16 (60% linen and 40% viscose), 1/27 (40% linen and 60% viscose), 1/33 (25% linen and 75% viscose).
    3. Linen and wool mixes: 1/16 (linen 40% and wool 60%), 1/28 (linen 40% and wool 60%).
    4. Linen and polyester mixes: 1/40 (linen 30% and polyester 70%), 1/20 (linen 30% and polyester 70%).
  3. Machinery List
    1. Line for 100% linen: linen cutter 6 blades with variable cut, card model FC4465, card model FC4466, opener Bigagli.
    2. Combing department: first drawing, second drawing.
    3. Spinning preparation department: line for 100% linen roving frame 108 spindles model FP17135; line for linen mixes roving frame 110 spindles model P3G Marzoli.
    4. Spinning for 100% linen: 8 spinning frames 200 spindles each with Pneumafil suction; one of the above spinning frames has flame attachment (fancy yarn) and one is incomplete for parts.
    5. Spinning for linen and mixes: 1 Marzoli spinning frame 408 spindles model RLP with Pneumafil.
    6. All other equipment is James Mackie brand.
    7. Total number of spindles is 2008.
  4. Condition
    1. Equipment is of older vintage but in excellent condition with excellent maintenance.
