  1. Overview
    1. A traditional coating head available in two models: model f for thickness coating, simple and reliable, and model m for thickness and "on-air" coatings.
    2. Sturdy machine to guarantee a coating precision of ± 1/100 mm.
  2. Specifications
    1. Features a two-position blade holder for a quick change, by manual rotation, between the two different knives.
    2. Blade holder is mounted on two side turrets that can be shifted on their horizontal axis, in order to coat by knife over roller or "on-air".
    3. Shifting is manual by handwheels or, as an option, motorized.
    4. Adjustment of the working thickness (clearance) is motorized and independent for the two sides, with quote visualization on a digital display located on the control panel.
    5. Main electrical panel is fitted in the machine shoulder to reduce the requirement of space and simplify the erection.
    6. Machine electronics include a plc to manage the various functions.
  3. Applications
    1. Direct coating on textiles: model f supports precision thickness coating and foam thickness coating; model m supports precision thickness coating, foam thickness coating, and direct coating with "on air" scraping technology for impregnations, light coatings and technical finishings.
    2. Transfer coating on release paper: model f supports thickness coating to make pu and pvc film; model m supports thickness coating to make pu and pvc film, and thickness or "on-air" coating to make pu and pvc film.
    3. Synthetic leather, foils, films and other materials: both models support finish, foam and adhesive coating to a given thickness.
