Description

  1. Headline Configuration
    1. 2 x GE PG 9171E gas turbines
    2. 2 x vertical HRSG
    3. 1 x GE steam turbine (2+1 configuration)
    4. Dual fuel
    5. Extender-upgraded hot gas path
    6. >95% historical availability
  2. Section 01 – Asset Overview
    1. A complete 375 MW class natural gas fired combined cycle power plant is offered for sale.
    2. The plant is configured as a classic 2+1 block: two General Electric PG 9171E heavy-duty gas turbines, two vertical heat recovery steam generators, one General Electric steam turbine, and the full balance of plant, electrical and auxiliary systems.
    3. The unit was commissioned in 1997 and operated in continuous baseload service under a long-term power purchase arrangement throughout its life.
    4. Operation was uninterrupted and disciplined: the plant recorded in excess of 95% availability and suffered no significant or chronic failures.
    5. Because the machines ran baseload rather than in cycling duty, thermal and mechanical ageing of the hot gas path and rotors is correspondingly low for the accumulated fired hours.
    6. Both gas turbines have been extender-upgraded by the original equipment manufacturer and are at the most current configuration for this frame.
    7. Following the last major outages, approximately 24,000 operating hours remain before the next scheduled maintenance intervention is required.
    8. Complete detailed maintenance records and outage reports are available, together with a full set of operating and maintenance spare parts.
    9. Total net output: 375 MW
    10. Block configuration: 2 + 1
    11. Year commercial operation: 1997
    12. Historical availability: >95%
    13. To next outage: ~24,000 h
  3. Plant Data
    1. Plant type: natural gas fired combined cycle (CCPP)
    2. Configuration: 2 x gas turbine + 2 x HRSG + 1 x steam turbine (2+1)
    3. Gross output: approx. 375 MWe
    4. Year of start-up: 1997
    5. Fuel: natural gas and distillate oil (dual fuel)
    6. Frequency: 50 Hz
    7. Condenser cooling: sea water, titanium tubes
    8. Availability: complete plant, or major sub-packages by negotiation
    9. Ratings and operating hours throughout this document are rounded; exact nameplate figures and performance test data are released to qualified buyers under NDA.
  4. Accumulated Operating Hours
    1. Gas turbine 1: approx. 179,000 h
    2. Gas turbine 2: approx. 172,000 h
    3. Steam turbine: approx. 176,000 h
  5. Section 02 – Key Selling Points
    1. Proven, well-documented machine. No significant or chronic malfunctions across the operating life. Detailed maintenance and outage reports are available for review.
    2. Low effective ageing. Continuous baseload operation under a firm offtake arrangement, rather than cyclic start-stop duty, which is the primary driver of hot gas path and rotor life consumption.
    3. OEM extender upgrade already performed on both gas turbines – the machines sit at the latest available configuration for the frame, with the associated performance and interval benefits.
    4. Approximately 24,000 running hours to the next scheduled outage, giving a new owner immediate generating availability without a near-term major maintenance capital call.
    5. True dual-fuel capability – natural gas and light fuel oil – providing fuel security and the ability to serve markets where gas supply is seasonal or constrained.
    6. Complete package. Gas turbines, HRSGs, steam turbine, generators, step-up and auxiliary transformers, water treatment, cooling, compressed air and emergency power are all included.
    7. Full spare parts inventory for both operation and maintenance is available with the plant.
    8. Mainstream, well-supported technology. GE 9E-class frames and Mark V controls are among the most widely installed in the world, with a deep global service, parts and relocation ecosystem.
    9. Deployment options. The plant suits a buyer seeking grid-scale dispatchable capacity, an industrial group requiring large captive generation with steam export potential, or a developer in a market where new-build lead times and capital cost make a relocated CCPP the faster route to power. Sale of the complete plant or of major sub-packages will be discussed.
