Reverse Osmosis Water Purification System Barge, 300,000 GPD, 120ft Length, 2x Caterpillar 3406 Pumps (Same as YY-2710)

Description

  1. Summary
    1. Desalination barge with topside equipment offered for sale
    2. Topside equipment is new and unused
    3. Converts sea water to fresh drinkable water by reverse osmosis
    4. Built to a military-grade standard for the US Army, preserved in standby condition
  2. Overview
    1. The 2 desalination systems onboard are capable of producing a daily maximum of 300,000 gallons (about 1.4 million liters) of filtered, desalinated and drinkable water from seawater.
    2. The plant is 2 identical units, ROWPU 1 and ROWPU 2, each able to produce 150,000 gallons per 24 hours; either unit can be run on its own.
    3. Built to reject 98 percent salinity and to meet World Health Organization guidelines for field water quality.
    4. Product water can be stored on board in 4 tanks holding 15,000 gallons in total.
    5. The plant can deliver water at variable volume and pressure.
    6. The membranes supplied with the unit are still in their plastic and in store.
    7. Around 24 hours are needed to initialize the system once the membranes are installed.
    8. Crew to run it continuously: 1 engineer with electrical knowledge and 1 person to analyze the water quality.
  3. Barge Dimensions
    1. Length: 120 ft (36.6 m)
