Overview

1. Complete short fiber (flax tow) scutching and cleaning installation, refurbished.

2. Capacity about 900 to 1,200 kg (1,985 to 2,645 lb) per hour, depending on fiber quality and purity requirements.

3. Electric control cabinets, 480 V, 60 Hz.

Scutching Line

1. Feeding and transport belt.

2. Bale opener, Vandommele, 1.20 m (47.2 in) width.

3. Bale opener, Deman, 1.20 m (47.2 in) width.

4. 3 Charle segments, each a horizontal shaker, drum and rising shaker, 1.20 m (47.2 in) width.

5. 1 finishing segment: horizontal shaker, finisher (fine fiber opener) and rising shaker.

6. Output transporter to the fiber baler.

7. Automatic baling press, Vlamalin (sold as Laroche).

8. Electric control cabinets, wiring and dedusting pipes.

9. Solid IPE 300 steel base frame.

10. Horizontal waste collection conveyor under the whole line.

Waste Cleaning

1. Condenser (air separator) and fan.

2. Small Duvex shives cleaning device (separates short fibers and dust).

3. Final Duvex.

4. Vlamalin press for the short fibers separated from the shives.

Shives Packing

1. Transport pipes, condenser (air separator) and fan.

2. Vlamalin press for shives, 20 kg (44 lb) packs, manual bag closing.

3. Electric control cabinet.
