Description Overview Inventory number: E-1102 SP-50 automatic pocket spring machine The eps-50 pocket spring machine automatically produces seal style pocket springs for mattress and pillows. To prevent loss of height after setting, the springs are heat treated. The springs then pass through a cooling section. The coils are then first compressed and then pressed into the folded fabric device. The pockets are formed by ultrasonics welding each side of the individual springs. The compressed springs are then allowed to extend inside the pockets. The NH-03 assembles the prefabricated pocket spring rows with sewn in or welded in springs into pocket spring interiors of various sizes. The springs are manually placed into the machine before the pocket spring interiors are produced automatically. Assembly Arrangements Zones Assembly of the spring rows into a spring interior can be performed either in the transverse or in the longitudinal direction. In addition, zoned spring interiors can be produced independently of assembly direction. Parallel Assembly The spring rows are fed in parallel. Nested Assembly The spring rows may be assembled in a displaced array without readjusting the machine. Duplex Assembly Using additional cutters, 2 spring interiors or several ones can be produced simultaneously.
