Excellent cleaning performance for cotton via adjustable grid system underneath each of the two openers. For synthetic fibers, only one opener executes the opening process without damaging the fibers. Grid system omitted for synthetics due to minimal cleaning need. Available in 1200 mm (48) and 1600 mm (64) widths. Operation Material placed onto moving conveyor feeding the bale. Conveyor feeds material to first storage chamber, controlled by a photocell until full. Second conveyor beneath storage chamber starts moving on request. Spiked belt opens material and moves it to opening cylinders. Feed rate from spiked belt adjustable via frequency-controlled motor. Advisable to place a heavy particle separator or magnet at exit point to protect downstream machinery from metal particles. Optional condenser mounted above bale opener enables pre-mixing with other fiber kinds prepared elsewhere. Specifications Machine model: OA1200 or OA1600.
