Staples filler materials automatically onto innerspring units
Fastens materials such as felt, foam rubber, and coco fiber along the sides of Bonnell or LFK innerspring units using metal clips
Bends edges of filler materials (wadding, coco fiber, foam, latex, etc.) 180° around the edges of Bonnell and LFK innerspring units and fastens them automatically
Can be modified with an additional mechanism to fasten filler materials automatically on pocket innerspring units
Specifications
Produces approximately 500 units per 8-hour shift
Main machine consists of 4 independent staplers
Staplers arranged to staple the first 4 sides of the mattress simultaneously (2 top sides and 2 bottom sides), then continue with the remaining 4 sides
Bottom staplers placed 180° relative to top staplers
Staples filler materials to achieve square sides easily
Innerspring unit with filler materials gets stabilized; stapler jaws enter the sides to produce stapling
Staples directed from outside to the inner section of the mattress
4 staplers controlled by PLC can apply staples in various densities (e.g., top side densely, bottom side with lower density)
Method of operation does not require turning or rotating the mattress
