Description

  1. Overview
    1. Inventory number: E-4575
    2. Automatic pillow sham flanging machine
    3. Utilizes one operator to operate up to three machines
    4. Operator places the sham length-wise on a loading conveyor into an adjustable self-centering tray
    5. Loading conveyor holds the sham until it is indexed into the driven belt system
    6. Pocket in the sham can be opened toward the operator or the closed side can be toward the operator
    7. Operator pushes a single start button and the task is complete
    8. Operator is free to load up to two additional machines (total of three)
    9. If production equipment does not require multiple machines, the operator has enough time to invert a sham while a sham is being automatically flanged
    10. When the previous sham is fully sewn, the next sham, already loaded on the conveyor, indexes automatically into the correct sewing position as the previously sewn sham leaves
    11. Automatic centering of the sham: each sham is automatically measured and positioned in the center for flanging, accommodating length variations up to 1 ½ inches
    12. Completed sewn sham is automatically ejected into a stacker
    13. Once indexed into the sewing section, air cylinders move the belts outward, placing the sham under tension
    14. Programmed sewing is automatically completed, including back tacking and trimming
