  3. Inlet Combination Details
    1. Mechanical/pneumatic web guides: automatically guide fabric with straight selvedges and without creases; selvedges sensed mechanically; operated pneumatically with filtered compressed air; roll contact pressure adjustable for different fabric qualities via control unit; set pressure displayed on pressure gauge
    2. Rotary compensator: ensures even speed running; infinitely pneumatically variable to produce necessary longitudinal tension in fabric
    3. Guide roller/guide rod: diverts fabric web in desired direction; guide rods rigidly mounted; guide rollers mounted in low maintenance ball bearings and run without separate drive with movement of fabric web
    4. Rotary tensioner: obtains longitudinal tension in fabric; infinitely adjustable by hand so friction against rod creates corresponding longitudinal tension
    5. Brake roller: when unbraked, driven by fabric web; actuating pneumatic brake slows roller movement and increases fabric tension
    6. Adjustment support: supports and adjusts width of web guide elements; consists of guide tubes with integral adjustment spindle; adjustment driven by electric motor
    7. Orthomat straightening machine Orthomat RFMC 94H: straightens skewed and bowed offsets; desired straightening effect achieved using hydraulic adjustable curved and diagonal rollers; fabric distortion detected by scanning heads; straightening process controlled by processor unit; skewed and bowed offsets displayed on color display
    8. Guide roller: idle rolls guide fabric web in desired direction; mounted in low maintenance ball bearings and run without drive with movement of fabric web
    9. Mycock bent stretching roller: prevents folds in front of squeezing gap of pad mangle
    10. Liquor troughs: equipped with displacement element that reduces amount of liquor in troughs
    11. Matex - 3 / G squeeze roller system: constant pressure roller pressed against counter pressure roller by two pneumatic cylinders to squeeze excess liquor out of fabric; constant pressure roller is rubber-coated tube with specially formed solid shaft running through tube; tube positively attached to shaft in middle while ends of tube can move relative to shaft in direction of pressing force; elastic tube ends allow roller to follow bending line of solid-core roller
    12. Drive: drive motor with gear unit mounted on stationary frame and connected directly to journal of squeeze roller; motor equipped with separately driven fan
    13. Covers and claddings: serve operational safety by protecting operating personnel from moving hot components; safety limit switches installed in area of doors and hinged or pivoted covers; machine stops immediately if monitored door, cover or cladding is opened while machine is running
  4. Stenter Inlet Details
    1. Width adjustment device at inlet: inlet chain can be pivoted separately from one another so pinning or clipping units can follow incoming selvedges; adjustment by electric motor via two rack-and-pinion drives
    2. Selvedge sensor: photoelectric detectors operate with infrared light and are not affected by ambient light; extreme reflections and direct light should be avoided
    3. Pinning shoes: bring two edges of fabric as close and uniformly as possible onto pins of tenter chains depending on preset overfeed; incorrect setting leads to uneven overfeed pinning and hampers automatic pinning in event of torn fabric edges
    4. Pinning monitors: mechanical pinning monitors installed; sensing bands located alongside pin bars monitor pinning of fabric; if fabric is not pinned, sensing bands drop and switch off fabric transport
    5. Brushes after pinning: press fabric fully onto pins; can be locked in non-operating position (upper limit position) and working position (lower position) by lever; exact position of brushes variable; correct working position attained when brush roll just touches surface of pin body
    6. Tenter chain: long term lubrication; lubrication interval at least 6000 operating hours at continuous temperature of 230° C and machine speed of 200 m/min; at lower machine speeds, longer lubrication intervals can generally be expected
    7. Pair of feed rollers for stretching operations: tension produced in fabric between pair of feed rollers and pair of draw rollers; electric motor with reducing gear drives feed roller with larger diameter and second feed roller via additional belt drive
    8. Chain guide: tenter chains guided in sturdy chain tracks; individual segments linked by pivot points; actual guides for tenter chains are graphite rails
    9. Damping rails: installed on entry and outlet sides of each guide wheel to ensure smooth running of tenter chains at four guide wheels
    10. Pin bars: actual fabric holding and tensioning elements; screwed to pin bar carriers mounted on tenter chain; fitting and removal possible without releasing tension in tenter chain
    11. Operation and control units
  5. Stenter Details
    1. Width individual motor drive: width adjustment spindles linked to chain tracks; tenter width adjustable by moving chain tracks
