  3. Dsd Process
    1. Nylon-6 DSD yarn is produced by using dried nylon-6 chips (FD chips) as the raw material
    2. This process comprises a spinning process and a take-up process
    3. In the spinning process, the FD chips are conveyed into a feed tank by gravity and discharged into an extruder by gravity
    4. In the extruder the polymer is molten and extruded under high pressure and conveyed into metering pumps through divergent polymer pipes
    5. The molten polymer measured by the metering pump is filtered in the spinning pack and then spun continuously through the spinneret
    6. The fresh spun yarn is cooled in a quenching chamber by conditioned air and passed to the take-up process through a spinning duct
    7. In the take-up process the yarn has spin-finish applied and is drawn between the 1st godet rollers and the 2nd godet rollers
    8. The yarn is heat-set on the 2nd godet rollers by electric heater, entangled by special nozzle with compressed air and wound up on a paper tube
    9. The wound drum is conveyed to the sorting process
