The C2000 open width compactor gives a single operator precise control of fabric compaction for shrinkage reduction and a softer, bulkier hand in knit fabric.
Variable compaction rates from 0 to 30 percent.
Average processing speeds are between 45 and 50 ypm.
Precise compaction takes place as fabric is evenly and uniformly pushed by a heated metal feed roll between a rubber retard roll and a metal shoe.
The roll and shoe are heated with a hot oil recirculating system.

Entry System Details
Features a driven roll for A-frame unwinding or pickup from a folded package.
Fabric is centered and guided with full width sensing.
Steam box provides controlled treatment across the entire fabric width.
Optional Configurations
Entry can be equipped with a tenterette running in tandem with the compactor.
Alternatively, a newly designed slat spreading system can be specified.
Choose an automatic batcher that provides uniform wind-up of compacted goods, consisting of a tensionless dual roll assembly with edge guiding, auto-doffing, and cutting.
