  3. Unwind Group
    1. Integral shafted unwinding unit located in rear side of machine, consisting of two frames joined by tie rods and assembled on high slide bearing for side movements, stroke +/- 50 mm from central position.
    2. Mother roll holder shaft with pneumatic expansion for cores with inside diameter of 76 mm (3").
    3. Possible to unwind mother roll with cardboard cores of 152 mm (6") using air expandable adapters (left and right) available on customer request.
    4. Hydraulic system for mother roll lifting from floor level to working position.
    5. Automatic alignment system of mother roll through edge guide group, electro mechanic type with microprocessor, complete with electric photocell for edge and print line reading (FIFE).
    6. Neutral cylinder covered with black rubber to create contrast required by photocell.
    7. Self cooled pneumatic brake with thermostatic control to keep constant torque on system.
    8. Dancing roll with pneumo-hydraulic regulation for automatic control of web tension during unwinding; signal from dancing roll works on pneumatic brake to keep constant film tension during unwinding phase.
  4. Draw Roll Group
    1. Draw roll group driven by asynchronous vector A.C. main motor (driven by fully digital vector inverter), composed of rubberized roll with ground chromate steel counter roll with pneumatic control.
  5. Adjustable Roll
    1. Adjustable rubberized roll driven by main asynchronous vector A.C. motor with leaving out and changeable work position (banana roll).
    2. Adjustable aluminum roll (for film floating edges).
  6. Knives Group
    1. Possibility to use two different circular slitting systems: tangential shear knife system and wrapping shear knife system.
    2. Tangential shear knife system driven by main asynchronous A.C. motor, consisting of top knife shaft with self-lock male shear knives and bottom knife shaft with female self-lock knives; no aluminum spacers needed on bottom shaft.
    3. Wrapping shear knife system driven by main asynchronous A.C. motor, using bottom counter blade shaft as support for aluminum spacers in different widths to fill gap between counter blades; bottom counter blade shaft has swing-out system on one side for quick and sharp slitting unit setup.
    4. Both circular slitting systems managed by independent fall and translation (micrometric side movement) unit for better slitting setup.
  7. Rewinding Group
    1. Rewinding unit on two cantilevered fully clutched shafts for quick unloading of finished roll.
    2. Each rewinding shaft driven by independent asynchronous vector A.C. motor managed by fully digital vector inverter (one for each rewinding shaft).
    3. Independent electro pneumatic system for lock and unlock of each rewinding shaft.
    4. Independent adjustable rewinding tension control managed by wide color LCD touch screen computerized separately setting for each rewinding shaft (value automatically changes according to diameter and speed variation of rewound rolls).
    5. Automatic speed control on rewinding by PLC system according to diameter variation of working rolls.
    6. Possibility to choose work rewinding sense (clockwise and counter clockwise).
    7. First system: two special rewinding shafts completely clutched on fully wide, able to work with cores having I.D. of 76 mm (3") with self lock system managed by spheres system without spacers (ball friction type); these shafts do not need aluminum rewinding spacers or machine setting, made by independent self-lock clutched rings covering shafts on all work width; able to work with paper, laminated, aluminum, non woven, high thickness films and wide range of film with great thickness variations across web width; film tension controlled with independent slight over speed in compliance to diameter variation and speed on each working roll automatically managed by PLC system and two independent electro pneumatic transducers; force controlling web tension transmitted by radial way for balanced tension control on each independent rewound roll.
    8. Second system: if film quality is good and thickness variation across web width is not high, possible to use same shaft units locking cardboard as common air expandable shaft without shaft substitution; rewinding force controlled by torque of two independent rewinding asynchronous vector A.C. motors by fully digital computerized setting, managed by PLC system in accordance with independent diameter variations on top and bottom rewinding stations.
    9. Possibility to choose working with single rewinder shaft and keeping other in quiet position (using slitter as rewinder).
    10. Lay-rolls aluminum arms holder with easy and quick system to remove or change work position.
    11. Lay-rolls covered by special antistatic rubber to avoid air coming in web during rewinding phase.
