  4. Process Details
    1. Three openers feed fiber to be processed in requested proportions: virgin polyester fiber, thermobonding fiber, and waste fiber from post-production nonwoven wastes (opener with tearing unit)
    2. The line produces high quality high loft nonwoven by air laid system, which eliminates need of a cross lapper
    3. The process consists of feeding the fiber to the V21 machine to form a uniform layer ready to be delivered to the card K12
    4. After carding the web is delivered to 3-level setting chamber
    5. The plant is equipped with 2 automatic spraying chambers used for adhesive (e.g. latex) spraying (in the case of using no thermobonding fibre supplements)
    6. At the moment the line produces nonwoven with 20% of thermobonding fibre; none of spraying chambers are in use
    7. A set of 16 separately driven round knives allow slitting of the web into freely adjusted widths
    8. The slitting section has also a cross cutter able to cut the product into panels of desired length
    9. Examples of widths are: (up to) 360 cm, 2 x 160 cm, 3 x 120 cm or variations thereof
    10. The line produces nonwoven which can be used for many purposes: quilts, pillows fillings, garments, furniture covering, heat insulation, filtering and others
  5. Condition and Recent Upgrades
    1. All cylinders have been recently re-clothed
    2. The heat setting chamber has been equipped with brand new, energy saving, Italian burners
    3. Burners still have 3 year warranty
    4. All door gaskets and vertical insulation in the heating chamber have been exchanged to reduce heat losses
    5. The line has new conveyor belts
