Ball fiber pillow filling machine designed to make pillows and cushions filled with ball fiber and opened hollow fiber.
Filling time of 20-25 seconds per pillow when each pillow weighs 500 grams.
Filling time is controlled and adjusted by the operator.
Four corners of the pillow should not be empty; the pillow is smooth and even.
Machine mainly consists of bale opener, opening machine, fiber box, ball fiber machine, filling nozzles, worktable, and electrical control cabinet.
Hopper feed allows large quantities of raw materials to evenly enter the opening machine.
Opening machine opens fibers in a denier range from 0.7D to 15D and transports them by a fan.
Silo box further mixes opened fibers and uniformly conveys them using photoelectric level control and exit control.
Ball fiber machine produces ball shaped fiber from silicon coated hollow fibers (such as 7Dx51mm) for filling material.
Worktables make filling items such as pillows and cushions more convenient.
Working Conditions
Environmental temperature: 5 °C to 40 °C.
Relative humidity: less than 80%.
Altitude: below 1000 meters.
Machine noise while working: ≤ 75 dB(A).
No strong electromagnetic field interference or harmful gas corrosion should be indoors by the machine.
This machine has no adverse impact on the environment and has no harmful gas or liquid emissions.
Installation Requirements
Foundation surface should be made of cement or terrazzo, flat within one millimeter tolerance (plus or minus).
Machine occupies an area of 11800 × 4500 mm (38 feet x 15 feet when set in a straight line); sufficient space should be reserved around the machine.
Machine can also be set side by side (photographs are available).
Upon receiving the machine, first open the wooden packaging boxes by removing the top cover, then the side panel, then accessories and spare parts, and finally the main part of the equipment out of the wooden box base (for overseas shipments).
For land transported machines, see instruction in Section 1.
Place the machine body part properly in its final position.
Operation and Debugging
Before operation, ensure that all parts are securely fastened.
Check the electrical power stability and ground connection of the electrical power supply.
Examine the phase sequence and that the emergency buttons are functioning reliably.
During maintenance, always turn off the power supply and lockout the latches on the power supply cabinet.
If the machine malfunctions, press the emergency button first, then disconnect the power supply.
Do not turn on the power switch before the issue is identified and resolved.
The operator must be thoroughly trained and competent in using this machine.
The maintenance personnel must possess professional skills specific to maintaining this machine.
Operators should be familiar with the location and operation of the emergency button and know how to operate the controls.
A supervisor should be readily available to provide prompt training updates as needed.
Maintenance personnel must be state or province certified or licensed and comply with all electrical operating regulations.
Maintenance personnel should wear electrically insulated shoes and gloves.
A helper must be placed nearby the power supply switch and place warning signs and lockouts during maintenance.
Safety
Warning: electrical shock hazard.
Caution: general safety notice.
Danger: keep clear of moving parts.
When lifting and moving the machine, adhere strictly to the lifting diagram and use hoisting equipment capable of bearing weights exceeding the machine weight.
Included Documentation
User manual includes table of contents covering introduction, setting up, installation, debugging and operation, air compressor requirements, electrical power feeding, baffle/ball spherical size regulation, shutdown steps, maintenance, common problems and troubleshooting, electrical schematic diagram, and diagram of opening section indicating roll separation or gauge.
