Material is derived mostly from construction and demolition debris, but may also consist of metal lockers, desks, chairs, cabinets, shelving, appliances and air conditioners (refrigerant free), structural vehicle parts, pipe, tubing, plate, bar with foreign ferrous and non-ferrous, metallic and non-metallic attachments.
Quantity
Approximately 1,500,000 lbs of scrap mixed metal currently on the ground.
Removal Requirements
Material must be removed from the site within 30 days of contract award using own equipment.
Buyer will be responsible for weighing containers in and out on a commercial certified scale at their expense.
Buyer may be required to provide a flatbed for removal of large or unique items.
All scrap requires mutilation by the buyer.
Title to the material does not pass to the buyer until the scrap has been mutilated.
