Specifications
One (1) S-roll (middle roll), diameter 405 mm, completely serviced by Küsters, with its hydraulic/heating unit (skid) – heating with thermal oil from a primary circuit
One (1) steel roll (upper or bottom roll), diameter 500 mm, engraving design according to attached drawing
Two (2) cooling rolls with frame
Drives and electrical control for one (1) steel roll, one (1) S-roll and cooling rolls
Set of spare parts (speed controller, mechanical parts, etc.)
The heating unit for the steel roll is not included but can be purchased with the right heating capacity to also supply the S-roll skid
Operating Parameters
The Küsters S-roll 170 is able to operate with a surface temperature of 170 °C
When used in production and for special applications, it usually operated with surface temperature of S-roll and steel roll of about 140–150 °C, sometimes run production with roll surface temperature of about 160–165 °C
The steel roll can operate up to approximately 250 °C
In order to have a perfect roll temperature control, a primary circuit with a thermal oil temperature at 220 °C was used
Condition
The calender is dismantled, stored in wooden boxes and ready to be shipped
Complete re-installation and start-up documentation available
Dismantling was done by a professional dismantling company
It is not possible to demonstrate the machine but the boxes can be opened for an inspection
An inspection is possible at any time
