Specifications Space requirement: approximately 5000 x 4000 mm Beam size: 21 x 21, total 16 beams available Each warp is carried on 4 beams, so a set of eight beams are required to run the machine. The arrangement of the beams is unusual; they are not driven and have a brake acting on the flange of the beam to add tension to the warp. Condition The Arachne stitchbonding machine has been in storage since approximately end of 2006, but was complete and running at that time. The gear box has been removed. No spare parts. Included There are quite a few miscellaneous spare parts with the machine, including a number of gauge parts. There is also a spare parts catalogue which describes the componentry of the Arachne. Electric control gear is basic, but this is included. When the Arachne was purchased, an instruction manual was provided, but it is unsure if it is still available today. Pictures available.
