Unique features such as interchangeable coating roll mandrels and one-step blade and trough changeover make multiple coating widths easily manageable. Movement between the different coating positions is done by the push of a button. Ease of operation and repeatable coating performance are aided by the digital readout and push button control. Specifications Can handle fabric 112 to 115 inches wide. Automatic Retaining Trough A compound retaining trough with adjusting gap precisely limits fabric exposure. Push buttons adjust the gap width to select desired compound sink rate. Trough opens and closes automatically with tenter start and stop. Floating Roll Mandrel With Mascoe on-frame coaters, the roll mandrel is mounted in floating centers. On-seam pass: this allows the roll to deflect an equal thickness to the seam. This unique system allows the on-frame coater to produce precise gap coatings on unstable fabrics.
