    5. Type S-55, built in 1957 in accordance with asme code and bearing nb and hsb stamping
    6. 2-drum bent-tube type stirling composed of a completely water-cooled furnace with top-supported construction
    7. Consisting of a 54" steam drum and a 36" lower drum
    8. Designed for a total heating surface of 11,106 sq. ft., of which 1,686 sq. ft. are in the waterwalls
    9. Fitted with one 1,470 sq. ft. pendant type, single-pass superheater
  2. Condition And History
    1. Previously operated at a utility as a standby or backup unit
    2. Operated mainly on natural gas
    3. Stoker system was rotated periodically to insure serviceability
    4. Unit was taken out of service in 1975 when the utility ceased power generation
    5. Purchased in 1977, dismantled, and removed in 1978 and stored indoors
    6. Unit is in good condition as your inspection will verify
    7. Dismantled, match-marked and ready for immediate shipment
    8. This boiler will require generating bank tubes at additional cost
  3. Included Valve Trim
    1. Three 2" safety valves (2 for boiler and 2 for superheater)
    2. One bailey 2-element feedwater regulator with bypass arrangement
    3. One water column with gauge glass
    4. Three 1-1/2" yarway tandem blowoff valves
    5. One continuous blowdown valve
    6. One 4" feed, stop and check valve, drain valves
    7. One 6" main outlet valve, diamond or copes sootblowers as well as relating valve trim, regulators, and controls

    1. Full complement of bailey metering combustion controls and instrumentation in a separate free standing panel
  5. Included Structural And Accessories
    1. Integral grid steel, some new main structural columns, buckstays, hoppers, access and inspection doors
