If clenching is not present, only "intermediates" are needed, and they are alternated. All jaws are marked (stamped) as follows. Bottom Jaws #1 is fixed and goes with #4 which is loose; this is for the odd ones. #2 is fixed and goes with #3 which is loose; this is for the even ones. Top Jaws #5 is fixed and goes with #8 which is loose; this is for the odd ones. #6 is fixed and goes with #7 which is loose; this is for the even ones.
