Type of yarn to be processed: polyester
Yarn range: 56 - 220 dtex
Mechanical speed: up to 1,200 m/min
Number of positions: 216 texturing positions and 216 take-up positions
Number of sections: 9
Length per section: 1440 mm
Dimensions
Width of machine: approximately 4764 mm without creel packages, max. 435 mm diameter
Length of machine: approximately 17,330 mm with closed main drive doors (9 sections)
Height of machine: approximately 5250 mm
Electrical System
Standard main voltage: 380 V/50 cycles
Control voltage: 220 V
3 phases plus loadable neutral
In case of deviations concerning the standard main voltage, adaptation possibilities are provided by individual transformers for main drives and heating (extra price)
For multiple machines, frequently a more economical high-rating common transformer is provided by the plant for the heating systems and the main drives
If no loadable neutral is available for 380 V, we create an artificial neutral conductor - for the heating system only - by means of a choke (extra price)
Main Drive
The feed systems, friction units and the traverse system are driven by 12 AC motors
Two motors for W1: each 7.5 kW at 50 cycles, each 12.9 kW at 86 cycles
Two motors for W2: each 7.5 kW at 50 cycles, each 12.9 kW at 86 cycles
Two motors for W3: each 7.5 kW at 50 cycles, each 12.9 kW at 86 cycles
Two motors for W4: each 7.5 kW at 50 cycles, each 12.9 kW at 86 cycles
Two motors for W5: each 7.5 kW at 50 cycles, each 12.9 kW at 86 cycles
Two motors for W6: each 18.5 kW at 50 cycles, each 31.8 kW at 86 cycles
The 12 AC motors are running with max. 86 cycles, corresponding to 1200 m/min
The transmission between motor and driven elements is done by means of timing belt drives
Texturing aggregates are single motor driven and are arranged in 2 decks
They are inverter controlled for each deck and each machine side
All AC motors controlled via Barmag Beltro-Vert-D-system
Speed regulation via microprocessor-system Beltro-Cont which calculates the machine settings as machine speed, D/Y ratio, crossing angle, ribbon breaking, stroke modification, etc. into motor rpms or machine speed
Yarn Control
Yarn cutter: installed before first feed system, works electromechanical; cuts and clamps the yarn ends in case of yarn breaks; must be opened by hand to enable the cutting function; after response, the yellow actuating pin projects and signals a yarn break; collective yarn cut in case of power failure to prevent damage to PU-discs (PU switchoff) is included in the delivery scope
Yarn sensor (non-contact yarn sensor): installed in lower position between third feed system and oiling device; gives electrical impulse to yarn cutter in case a yarn end missing
Heater
Primary heater: Dow-therm heated; 6 four-grooved heating plates for one field section form one complete system; fume exhaust nozzles at the upper part of the heating plates; length of heating plate: app. 2,000 mm; deep V-groove of 11 mm depth with additional pinches to prevent yarn heat outs
Secondary heater: Dowtherm heated; one heater unit includes two independent systems for A- and B-side with 12 yarn tubes each; each position is equipped with an exchangeable tube which can be removed for cleaning purposes for which the unit is swivel-mounted; length of tubes: approximately 1460 mm; inner diameter: approximately 3.8 mm; at the lower end of the tubes there is a centering for the yarn suction injector
Control system: Beltro-Loop digital control via PT 100 measuring sensors; temperature setting and indication by microprocessor system Beltro-Cont; one control loop per heating system, i.e. 18 per machine for the upper dowtherm heater and 18 per machine for the lower dowtherm heater
Temperature setting: menu-guided data input and output via PC keyboard and color monitor; pictorial display of the heater status and alarm signal on the display screen whenever the preset limit values are exceeded; alarm signal in case that temperature limits are exceeded
Cooling Zone
Cooling plate of approximately 1100 mm length, cooled by ambient air
1 cooling plate per yarn end
Deep V-groove of 18 mm depth with additional pinches to prevent yarn cool outs
Feed Shafts (W1, W2, W3)
All feed shafts are equipped with nip rolls
The feed rolls are matte/hard-chromed, 75 mm diameter
Yarn displacement (W1, W2, W3): accomplished with traversing yarn guides prior to the feed units; traverse stroke 8 mm
Threading Unit
Threading device: one pneumatical threading device for each yarn end; two stationary thread guides for each threading device
Yarn threading system: transportable set-suction injector, two injectors per machine; connection to compressed air system by quick-connection-coupling, waste yarn is put into pipes of yarn suction device
Yarn suction: one suction pipe per machine side, suction pipe located above take-up; this suction pipe is provided with holes for the yarn end, the holes can be covered with sliding sleeves; lower noise level by means of smaller holes in the suction pipe, suction pipes are connected to a collecting tank at the end of the machine; volume: approximately 700 liters; suction by means of a multistage fan which is placed at the control cabinet side of the machine
Friction unit: 216 Barmag friction aggregates, single motor driven; type 8 Barmag PU discs, 9 mm thick, in the arrangement of 1 - 7 - 1 M with spacers for the arrangements 1 - 6 - 1 M, 1 - 5 - 1 M; max number of discs: 10 discs, 9 mm thick; max axial speed: 22,000 RPM
Noise Abatement
Sliding doors in front of friction units
Unitens
216 Unitens 2 – yarn tension measuring heads
PC-cabinet, PC, monitor and printer
Continuous yarn tension measuring for each yarn end to monitor the yarn quality, registering yarn tension peaks and longer lasting changes in yarn tension
Preset limit values permit A, B, and C quality
