Description

  1. Overview
    1. System can produce up to 1600 mm net film starting from PE rolls.
    2. For the production of air bubble film for packaging applications and also for thermal insulation and pool cover.
  2. Production Capacity
    1. Finished product for packaging application: 55 gr/m2 (around 2 mil).
    2. Speed of production of the machine with this thickness: around 40 mt/min (depends on film quality and characteristics).
    3. Material produced in an hour: 40 x 1.6 x 60 = 3840 m2 (around 41,300 sft) / 211 kg/h (465 lb).
  3. Components
    1. Unwind unit with two position unwinding (one for each layer) complete of air expansion shafts (internal diameter of the core 76 mm), pneumatic disk brakes and lateral adjustment devices. Designed for the unwinding of rolls of LDPE, coated paper or aluminium, etc.
    2. Central unit complete of independent motorized nip rolls in order to set the tension for each film, banana rolls, calenders heated by water into closed circuit for the pre-heating of the films, interchangeable forming cylinder with bubbles diameter 10 mm and 4.5 mm height complete of quick joint for water and suction, thermoforming by special hot air oven in steel heated by electrical resistances with electrical movement on rack controlled by touch screen, silicon rubber cylinder for material welding refrigerated through contact with cooled cylinder, silicon rubber cylinder on exit internally refrigerated, air oven and cooling chrome plated cylinders for the air bubble film, vacuum pump for sectional aspiration on the forming cylinder through auto lubricating flange.
    3. Thermoregulation water unit to control and to maintain constant the temperature of the forming cylinder and heating calenders.
    4. Longitudinal blades to split the roll of air bubble film in different parts, complete of blade holders in aluminium and hard steel blades, pneumatic driving gear controlled from the touch screen.
    5. Aspiration system for trims to cut and to collect, into plastic bags, waste edge trims under vacuum, complete of transportation pipes with Venturi system.
    6. Rewinding unit “duplex plus” two cantilevered air shafts, auto turret winder complete of motorized nip roll, automatic changeover cycle operating by fling knife, safety system for cutting unit, automatic tension control synchronized with the diameter of the roll in production, self expanding air shafts when a new core is inserted and for the unloading of the produced rolls. Rewinding with internal bubble or third layer (possibility to modify for external bubble or third layer). Sound signal to advise the operator of the phase of change. Push button panel on board group for independent control of the rewinder. The rewinder is predisposed for automatic unloading of the produced rolls, automatic loading of the core with hot melt unit.
    7. Pneumatic, electronic and hydraulic connections between the various parts of the plant.
    8. Main cabinet on closet complete of motor inverters, PLC, fuses, contact breakers and all the different protections. Digital display device with touch screen for insertions parameters, selections and settings of the plant functioning.

    1. Starting standard material: rolls of LDPE film degree 1.5-2 (also blended with LLDPE about 10/20%) not slippery, no treatment. Any types of coated materials for the base.

  5. Accessories
    1. Optional forming cylinder in steel to make bubbles with different diameters of the standard measure. Complete of quick joints for water and vacuum. For bubbles with a diameter of 20 mm, height 8 mm; for bubbles with a diameter of 25 mm, height 10 mm; for bubbles with a diameter of 30 mm, height 12 mm. Different sizes and dimensions available at request.
    2. Chiller unit 55,000 kcal/h with function of cooling temperature rolls of material exit and for the total saving of the consumed water, complete of delivery and recycling pump, closed internal tank, fans and main cabinet complete of control panel with display with indications of the temperatures or possible anomalies of operation.
    3. Third layer unit to laminate a third layer of film complete of independent nip roll, welding cylinder in silicone rubber cooled internally and externally by an external suitable roll, chrome plated cylinder, film heating by special hot air oven in steel heated by electrical resistances with electrical movement on rack controlled by touch screen, two position unrolling unit with semiautomatic change designed for materials as LDPE, HDPE, foam, coated paper, coated aluminium, etc. complete of air expansion shafts, pneumatic disk brakes, lateral adjustment devices, pneumatic automatic accessory to joint the films.
    4. Perforating unit to pre-cut the air bubble film transversally, according to customer need (min. 200 mm), complete of brush roll with pneumatic driving gear, perforating roll with titanium blades controlled by brushless motor.
    5. Unwind unit with automatic change of mother rolls (no stop model) with two positions unrolling for each film, with air expansion shafts (internal diameter of the core 76 mm) complete of brakes and lateral adjustment devices, pneumatic automatic accessory to joint the films.
