    2. Most mattresses in the 70–80 in (178–203 cm) range can be packed with 102–103 in (259–261 cm) plastic.
    3. Mattresses in the 70 in (178 cm) range can be wrapped when the right side positioner fence and side seal have been moved to their alternate position; plastic width should be sized proportionately.
    4. Recommended mattress height range is 3–14 in (8–35 cm); thinner or thicker units may or may not package well depending on weight, density, compressibility, surface type, etc.
    5. Actual machine opening is 17.7 in (45 cm).
    6. Maximum seal length at the side seals is 90 in (229 cm).

  3. Operational Notes
    1. Plastic width should be chosen to match mattress length due to the limited jaw opening at the moveable side seal.
    2. If a mattress is wrapped with excessively wide plastic, the plastic will not be able to clear the moveable side seal pivot point; it will wrinkle back, causing an inadequate seal and cut, and possibly a jam-up.
    3. Excessively wide plastic also creates excessive waste.
