Catex, PP Multifilament Extrusion Lines, 25 kg/h Capacity, 35mm & 45mm Extruders

Description

  1. Overview
    1. Three small filament extrusion lines: Fxa 1, 2, and 3
    2. One larger filament extrusion line: Fxa 4
    3. One partially built system: Fxa 5
    4. Together with ancillary equipment
    5. Each line will produce approximately 25 kgs/hour for flat entangled yarn for upholstery – not texturized
  2. Fxa 1
    1. Comprising one 35 mm extruder with electrically heated 3 zone barrel
    2. One spinning beam holding two spinneret blocks, each block being fed via a Barmag polymer metering pump, this being powered by an independent AC motor (inverter driven)
    3. A quench cabinet supplying ambient air to the extrudate at a controllable rate
    4. A finish applicator system using a Slack and Parr metering pump, each pump being capable of supplying eight finish streams
    5. A haul-off and stretch roller system comprising one cold haul-off roller, six heated godet rollers and two cold relaxing rollers, all rollers with independently variable speed control (inverter driven)
    6. Two Barmag LFW 25 winders each capable of winding two yarns or eight yarns, depending on the cam used (both cams are supplied)
    7. One control cabinet controlling all aspects of the drives for the screw, the polymer pumps, the spin finish pumps, the rollers, the air speed of the quench and all temperature controls
  3. Fxa 2
    1. Exactly the same as for Fxa 1
  4. Fxa 3
    1. Exactly as for Fxa 1, instead of having Barmag LWF winders has Sahm 2003 winders, each capable of winding two yarns
  5. Fxa 4
    1. Comprising one 45 mm Barmag extruder with a four zone heated barrel
    2. A spinning beam having a stirred hot oil heating system, the beam holding eight spinneret blocks
    3. A quench system capable of moderate chilling of the ambient air before delivery
    4. Two planetary Slack and Power polymer metering pumps each with four outlets each delivering to one spinneret
    5. A spin finish delivery system comprising two Slack and Power metering pumps each having eight delivery ports
    6. The yarns are collected on four Sahm 2003 winders
    7. One electrical control cabinet to control all features of the line
  6. Fxa 5
    1. Comprises the following elements of a partially built system: 45 mm Plasticiser’s extruder
    2. One eight block spinning beam with stirred hot oil
    3. Eight spinneret blocks
    4. Two Slack and Parr spin finish metering pumps each having eight outlet ports
    5. One eight position Wittras winder
  7. Ancillary Equipment
    1. Eight Colortronic color blend units
    2. One Colortronic two station volumetric dosing unit
    3. Spare spinnerets for all the above lines (one full set each) together with breaker and backing plates
    4. A laboratory oven to preheat the dies
    5. An oven for burning out the used dies
    6. Moveable steps for die changing, together with die changing tools
    7. Two Broomwade compressors – 30 kW and 37 kW, with one air dryer
    8. Racking etc to hold finished yarn stock, etc
    9. Laboratory equipment including wrap reel, photometer, 3000 gm balance, 30 kilogram scales, color mixing drums
    10. Wooden work bench and a steel workbench including vice
