The cutting unit is driven by inverter with controlled accelerations and decelerations.
The blade runs over 6 cast iron blade-wheels diameter 400 mm and its tension is controlled by a load cell system.
The grinding device equipped with tool-dresser is motorized and provided with a grinding dust suction unit.
Control Board
Siemens touch screen equipped control board with the following functions:
Adjustment and display of cutting length (cutting length will preset relative to the length of foam to be cut).
Adjustment and display of cutting speed (operator will modify the cutting speed relative to the height and hardness of foam).
Pre-set up to 4 different cutting thicknesses in a single working cycle.
Adjustment of the inertia for headboard movements.
Display and pre-set of blade inclination 45°/-30°.
On/off of the blade.
Ascent/descent of the blade guide.
Cutting unit movements.
Grinding dust aspiration on/off aspirators.
Adjustment and display of the blade tension.
Display of the alarms and diagnostic with relative solutions.
Working data display (one page of the touch screen units display):
Working hours of the blade motor (allows knowledge of the blade life).
The worked hours of the upper and lower slide motor and of the cutting unit motor (that allows to know the date of programmed maintenance as written in the instruction book).
Working hours of the headboard motor (it allows to know the date of programmed maintenance as written in the instruction book).
Options
Cutting length: 3250 mm, 4250 mm (128, 167)
Controlled grinding (the grinding unit starts automatically after n numbers of cutting hours: the operator can update this value).
Joystick with potentiometer: compared to the set joystick that moves the cutting unit at the preset speed, the free joystick equipped with potentiometer increases and reduces the cutting unit speed in extremely sensitive ways. The usefulness of this electronic device is proved when the blade has to pass through the hardest peels of the foam.
Tilting sideboard (it can be tilted to 90° when its position is on the head left of the working table). This position makes the foam loading very easy. The sideboard tilting operation is manual. A gas spring device makes the tilting effort very light.
Blowing table (two electroventilators placed under the working table, create an air cushion that makes the manipulation of the foam very easy).
Electromagnetic clutch for manual movements of the headboard.
