  1. Preface
    1. All performance figures reported are not binding; they are based on long-term experience of the Italian spandex plant, considering the following conditions:
    2. All key equipment are well-installed and properly maintained.
    3. Adequately qualified personnel are operating the production.
    4. All necessary raw and working materials and utilities are available at the due time and continuously supplied in sufficient amount, fully corresponding to standard quality specification.
    5. Expected figures have been achieved after start-up production period, when setting parameters are optimized and with operating personnel fully familiar with machines, apparatuses and control system.
    6. Consumption figures are strictly related to the full name plate production capacity; so some consumption figures can substantially vary when the plant is run at partialized production capacity.
    7. Performance and consumption figures are strictly related to the full respect of the raw material specifications; so some performance and/or consumption figures can substantially vary when the plant is run with raw materials having different characteristics.

      1. The name plate capacity of the polymerization is 2,400 kg/h dope (with 35% concentration).
    2. Dry Spinning
      1. The average capacity of the spinning machines is as follows:
      2. 17 dtex 1 f: expected ≥ 1.6 kg/24h per spinneret.
      3. 22 dtex 1 f: expected ≥ 2.0 kg/24h per spinneret.
      4. 33 dtex 2 f: expected ≥ 3.2 kg/24h per spinneret.
      5. 44 dtex 3 f: expected ≥ 3.6 kg/24h per spinneret.
      6. 78 dtex 6 f (coupled): expected ≥ 6.7 kg/24h per spinneret.
