Electrical energy: voltage 20 kv, fluctuation of voltage ≤ ± 10%, rated frequency 50 hz, fluctuation of frequency ≤ ± 3%. Electrical energy has to be made continuously available. If short skips, interruptions or longer breakdowns could happen at plant site, emergency power supply is necessary. Dependent on frequency and duration of power interruptions, the emergency power supply has to be designed either for critical items only or for the total plant.
