Description Overview Expanders assure continuous, reliable production of straight, smooth and full width fabrics by decreasing shrinkage and wrinkles. The expander works by moving the cloth over the expander and the rubber expands each tiny area of cloth stretching it straight and smooth. The design uses metal sleeves arranged so that bearing and sleeves work together as an inner mechanism where vulcanized rubber is attached. Specifications Single roll expanders have a pre-set bow and adjustable angle. Single roll expanders are used for slight stretching or to remove wrinkles. Three and five-roll expanders are used when considerable stretch in width is desired and to control quality and production at many points.
