Description

  1. Overview
    1. Cotton foreign fibre removal machine designed for blowing process lines.
    2. Cotton is fed to the machine by the blowing process, passes through the detection channel vertically and evenly after being gently opened by the opener.
    3. Detection results are influenced by cotton opening degree; the more evenly opened, the better.
    4. In the middle of the channel there is a transparent detection window.
    5. On both sides of the window, high-speed high-resolution line scan cameras shoot pictures.
    6. Picture information is sent to a high speed digital-image processing system.
    7. The system analyzes characteristics of foreign fibre such as contrast degree, saturability, color difference and shape.
    8. After a series of recognition and location programs, the coordinate position of foreign fibre is detected.
    9. The high frequency electromagnetic valve is activated and contaminants are blown out by the control system and pumped into the contamination hopper by the suction fan.
    10. Pure cotton passes through to the cotton output and into the next machine process.
