During the spinning process of polyester filaments with high moisture content in the polyester chips, pet chips melted under high temperature shall cause polymer degradation.
Such degradation leads to molecular chain breaking, thereafter filament breaking during the spinning process.
The moisture content for polyester chips must be reduced to 0.4% moisture before spinning, especially for spinning fine denier and micro denier yarn, the moisture content should be lowered than 25 ppm.
We can guarantee the final chip moisture content lower than 20 ppm (bm type) or 25 ppm (rosin type) with our technology.
Technical Data
Production range: 200 to 450 kg/h.
Chips specification: φ3 × 3 mm or 3 × 3 × 2.5 mm or 2 × 4 × 4 mm.
Bulk density: 0.75 to 0.8.
Initial moisture: ≤ 0.4%.
Final moisture: ≤ 25 ppm.
Crystallization condition: chips are in the continuous fluid state and work on airflow completely. Chips should be pre-crystallized continuously and evenly without chip-residence period deviation and material blockage.
Dry air condition: dew-point ≤ -70 °c, temperature (155 to 175) ± 1 °c.
Final chip's temperature: 145 to 165 °c.
Install power: 116 kw.
