Description Overview Air operated cloth guiders are the lowest maintenance free cloth guiders compared to mechanical, electrical, or electronic types. Pneumatic cloth guiders require only normal compressed air without any maintenance cost. Can be used on chemicals and in wet conditions, with no chance of electrical shock. Only 2.5 kgs compressor air pressure is required for operating the cloth guiders. Suitable for fabric width up to 24” to 84”. Cloth guiders are very important in cloth processing, printing, dyeing, bleaching, printing inspection, batching, winding, and rewinding. Types of Cloth Guiders Mechanical cloth guiders are the cheapest but have many moving parts and require frequent service and replacement. Electrical cloth guiders work on 55/65 volts D.C supplied to its solenoid and are available for double folding machines. Pneumatic cloth guiders have the lower running cost and require normal compressor air supplied through an air filter-regulator-lubricator. Light duty models to heavy models are available according to the width of fabrics. Mounting and Adjustment Cloth guiders always come left and right and should be mounted on an adjusting frame. The width increase or decrease can be adjusted manually by hand wheels provided on both sides of the adjusting frame. Two mounting brackets are fitted on the adjusting frame to fix the cloth guiders.
