Description Overview Complete fiber melt spinning, drawing and baling system capable of producing 150 metric tons per day of polyester staple fiber. Designed to produce high tenacity staple fiber from 0.9 to 1.5 denier per filament but capable of running a wider range of deniers. Typical positional throughputs were 142 – 150 pounds per position hour but more is possible. All equipment on the spin beam floor is class 1, div II rated for hazardous duty. Spinning Machines Two spinning machines, 24 positions each with Neumag canning. Drawing Line Neumag drawing / stretch line with 7 roll stands, 25 roll calender, stacker, 460 mm "Baltic" crimper, P&S conveyor dryer, DM&E 90 cutter. Capacity of 4 million denier at draw speeds to 400 meters per minute. Baling System Autefa 500 ton baler with wrapping and strapping. Condition Equipment is in very good condition with less than 1 year of total run hours accumulated on the draw line. The spinning line was never run in production.
