S.S. Drying Cylinders

1. To be manufactured from 304 quality 12 SWG (2.5 mm) thick stainless steel sheets welded by argon arc, there will be maximum two longitudinal sheet joints which are polished and finished.

2. The cylinders are belt-polished to fine finishing.

3. Two nos. anti-collapsing rings (stiffeners) made of 50 mm x 50 mm x 6 mm M.S. “T” angles, to be fitted inside the shell of the cylinder.

4. Reverse type dish ends made from M.S. plates to be fitted on both the ends of the cylinder.

5. Each cylinder is provided with M.S. trunions on both the ends.

6. Each cylinder is provided with two vacuum valves and one drain cock.

7. Run out 1.0 to 2.0 mm to 2.5 mm on O/D T.I.R.

Teflon Coated Cylinders

1. If cylinders are to be coated with P.T.F.E. Teflon, then the thickness shall be 50 micron.
