Overview

1. Semi-automatic roll-pack machine for pillows and quilts, model MP224

2. Designed by NovaStar for rolling up pillows, cushions, quilts, sleeping bags, mattress toppers and other quilted products to reduce their volume and optimise transport

3. Products are rolled up for easy introduction inside their decorated bags

Machine Construction

1. Frame is a sturdy welded-steel structure with the following mounted components

2. Rotating-pliers group for rolling up the pillow or quilt

3. Motorised ejector for evacuating the rolled-up pillow or quilt

4. Automatic contrast-saddle for controlling the pillow/quilt diameter during the rolling-up sequence

5. Touch-screen control panel for setting the correct rolling-up mode

6. Control pedal for evacuating the rolled-up pillow/quilt inside its bag

7. Electric cabinet

8. Entrance motorised carpet to allow easy loading and correct positioning of the pillow/quilt to be rolled up

Working Schedule

1. Operator lays the pillow or quilt (folded along its length) on the motorised carpet and presses the "start cycle" pushbutton

2. Carpet moves and carries the pillow/quilt between the rotating-plier arms which close, locking the pillow/quilt beginning, and start rolling it up

3. Rolling-up sequence is ended by a photocell that stops the carpet when the end of the pillow/quilt is pressed against the contrast-saddle, which automatically adjusts its position as a function of the size of the material to roll

4. Operator inserts the decorated bag over the rolled-up pillow/quilt and contrast-saddle, then presses the drive pedal and the ejector pushes the rolled-up pillow/quilt inside its decorated bag out of the plier arms and evacuates it
