Shipping Requirements
Any wood used must be fumigated and we must have a fumigation report.
All electric and electronic control boxes must have small bags of desiccant to absorb moisture that will occur when the container cools at night.
Machines coming from Asia to South America can easily be at sea 40 or more days; variation and fluctuation of high to low temperatures can be as high as 120 degrees f at midday to 30 degrees f at night.
Water vapor will condense and during a long trip will damage the circuit boards, electrical connections, etc.
This is a must, especially if you wrap with plastic; the plastic will not allow vapor to evaporate and will condense.
