Description Overview Modular machine designed to impregnate, dry, spread and wind filaments, yarns, fine cords, tapes or bands. Can be adapted to any particular feature that the customer may need. Basic machine is made of modular phases shown in the following chart. Products To Be Processed Several yarns are processed simultaneously and wound separately. Twisted or non-twisted synthetic yarns. Narrow fabrics or tapes. Technical Features Five process steps with different possibilities. Unwinding Creel pulled from the top with yarn guide and small tension device. Unwinder (for spreading only) feed roller rolled off from a bobbin. Impregnation By immersion tank: With manual adjustable to get more or less impregnation. A pump transfers the solution from a main tank (any container that the customer may already have) and keeps the solution level constant. By kiss-roll: Two driven rollers transfer solution from the tank as it turns. The material is pressed against the top part of the rollers and is impregnated. Spreading The filaments in the tow are spread. Drying Drying tunnel with infrared lamps. Tunnel with forced hot air. Different lengths for the tunnel are available. Take Up Winding: several independent heads of winder. Twisting: connection to ring twisting machine with different plies. Tape winding: after spreading the tow wound as a tape. Parameters Of The Machines Machine made up of a line of modular units. Adjustable parameters: drying power, winding tension production, count-meter, power supply 220 V mono-phase 50/60 Hz (except drying). Advantages Different types of impregnation are possible.
