Description

  1. Overview
    1. Wraps automatically every kind of pillows (fiber, latex, foam, etc.) on bags directly made from rolls of polyethylene tube
    2. Extracts the bag automatically from the roll at the programmed length, makes the bottom seal, cuts for separation and introduces the pillow previously compacted
    3. Transfers the pillow on the bag to the press for extracting the air and making the top seal
    4. Finished pillow is ready to be packaged, saving storage and transportation costs
  2. Machine Components
    1. In-feed conveyor: receives the pillows, reducing their volume while transporting until the end of the belt and transfer to the compacter composed by two long plates (tweezers) also provided with belts
    2. When the bag is ready, the tweezers move to introduce the pillow on it and then activate the belts to deposit the pillow; then the tweezers move backwards to receive the next unit
    3. Output Y3 (green semaphore) activates when the machine is ready for a new piece to synchronize with previous lines
    4. Module for bag production: includes the roll of tube of polyethylene; by means of a gag of vacuum, it opens the exterior end of the bag, then introduces a clamp which opens to the whole width of the bag
    5. Extracts the bag up to its final measurement, carries out a seal to the whole width, and separates the bag from the roll by means of a cut with cold knife
    6. Finished bag is dragged up to the position of introduction of the pillow; once introduced and the tweezers extracted, the clamp closes and moves back to liberate it
    7. Module of compression and closing seal: by means of a belt conveyor, the bagged pillow is transported transversely to reach the press, then the press activates and extracts the air from the bag
    8. Carries out a seal along the width to close the compressed bag and withdraws the remains of plastic by means of a cut with cold knife
    9. Control cabinet: shelters the electric and electronic parts for protection, measurement, control and activation of the machine
    10. Tactile screen allows communication man-machine, accepting values for the variables and showing messages of alarm
    11. Semaphore of three lights allows the user to know the state of the machine distantly
  3. Control and Sealing
    1. Control of the seals is achieved by PID regulation of the temperature of the bars and by time
    2. Machine is provided with temperature sensing (thermocouple type J)
    3. Machine stops its function in case the temperature is not sufficient to melt the plastic
    4. Cut is realized by means of cold knife driven by a pneumatic cylinder
