Longitudinal diameter measurement method: for fiber samples with circular cross section, the sample can be directly placed on the slide with a length of 0.2 mm to 0.4 mm parallel or cut into pieces after finishing; it can be enlarged and displayed on the screen by microscopic camera, and its diameter can be automatically measured by clicking on the edge of the fiber
Section area method: for non-circular fiber specimens, the fiber specimens are sliced with a slicer, placed on the loading table, then the cross-section area of the fibers is measured and automatically converted into the equivalent diameter of the cross-section area
