Tetra Pak, Ice Cream Plant, 2024, 1500 Liters Per Hour, All Stainless Steel, With Gantry

Description

  1. Overview
    1. Tetra Pak ice cream plant
    2. All stainless steel construction
    3. Includes gantry
    4. Lift out: TBC
    5. 1500 liters per hour capacity
    6. Year: 2024
    7. Was housed in a state-of-the-art facility combining advanced technology, efficiency, and quality control to produce top-tier ice cream in an environmentally responsible way while remaining adaptable to new consumer demands and trends.
  2. Ingredient Storage And Preparation
    1. Large, refrigerated milk silos dedicated to keeping ingredients fresh
    2. Smaller IBC storage for non-dairy ingredients
    3. Ingredients are carefully measured and dispensed into the production line to ensure consistency
  3. Pasteurization And Homogenization
    1. Ingredients are transferred to a large high shear pasteurization machine to eliminate bacteria and improve shelf life while retaining the quality of the ingredients
    2. Process happens in a controlled environment with precise temperature and timing regulation
    3. The ice cream mixture undergoes homogenization, where it is passed through high-pressure systems to break down fat molecules and create a smooth, creamy texture
  4. Flavoring And Inclusion
    1. Once the base mix is ready, flavors can be added, including natural fruit purees, chocolate, vanilla, or even exotic ingredients
    2. There is a separate line for adding inclusions like nuts, chocolate chips, caramel ribbons, or swirls
  5. Freezing And Molding
    1. The flavored mix is sent to freezing machines that rapidly freeze the ice cream mix while continuously churning it to prevent the formation of large ice crystals
    2. This process ensures the smooth and creamy texture characteristic of premium ice cream
    3. Once the ice cream reaches the perfect texture, it is dispensed into moulds, then quickly hardened in a blast freezer to maintain its integrity during storage
  6. Automation And Hygiene
    1. The plant has sophisticated software systems for inventory management, quality control, and tracking production
    2. Sensors and automated systems monitor temperature, consistency, and flavor levels at every step
    3. A fully computer controlled CIP plant ensures consistent and continuous levels of hygiene throughout the plant
