Buhler, Solid State Polycondensation Lines, 1995/1997, 45 T/D to 76.8 T/D Capacity, PET Bottle Grade Resin

Description

  1. Overview
    1. Two technological lines for the manufacturing (additional polycondensation) of bottle grade pet resin used in the production of pet bottles for beverages.
    2. Based on solid state polycondensation technology developed by the Swiss firm Buhler.
    3. Production process depends on thermal treatment of the raw material (amorphous pellets of initial iv about 0.6 dl/g) in the equipment of the lines.
    4. Lines consist of five basic process loops each, where the material is treated by temperature in specified conditions for a certain period of time.
    5. During processing amorphous material, its molecular weight changes to the value expected for bottle grade, or higher, up to 1.0 dl/g.
    6. Ability to process r-pet materials on these lines as well.
    7. Beside standard bottle grade, experience processing r-pet and fiber grade homo-polymers to values 0.96 – 0.1.
  2. Daily Capacity
    1. 45 t/d to 60 t/d.
