Rieter, B12, 2010, Uniclean, 1000kg Capacity, 11.25 kW

Description

  1. Overview
    1. Designed for cotton and other natural fibers such as flax.
    2. Capacity up to 1,400 kg/h of card sliver; also available for limited production up to 1,000 kg/h.
    3. Low air consumption and small footprint.
    4. Low maintenance requirement.
  2. Working Principle
    1. Material is transferred to the UNIclean B 12 and received by special spikes that mechanically guide it five times over the cleaning grid.
    2. Raw material is guided over the integrated dedusting element where dust, fiber fragments, and husk particles are mechanically removed.
    3. Modified grid knives combined with optimized material guidance and increased dedusting surface ensure high cleaning efficiency even at high production rates.
    4. Cleaning process occurs without air disturbance, in a controlled and efficient manner.
    5. Dust-laden air rises to only approx. 0.5 m³/s.
    6. Separated impurities fall into the waste space and are delivered to waste transport via a gate cylinder.
  3. Key Components
    1. Cleaning cylinder
    2. Cleaning grid
    3. Gate cylinder
    4. Material feed
    5. Material outlet
    6. Exhaust air to filter

  4. Technology and Features
    1. Machine without nip points, resulting in gentle fiber cleaning.
    2. Use of grid knives prevents fiber damage and minimizes nep increase.
    3. High cleaning efficiency and intensive dedusting.
    4. VarioSet system with 110 working points for independent adjustment of cleaning intensity (0.0 to 1.0) and relative waste quantity (1 to 10).
    5. Adjustments can be made while the machine is running and are reproducible for frequent assortment changes.
    6. Easy adjustment during operation.
    7. Ability to work with several assortments.
  5. System Integration
    1. Connection to UNIcontrol or UNIcommand opening/cleaning controls.
    2. Can be easily incorporated into installations from different manufacturers.
  6. Performance and Efficiency
    1. Optimal raw material utilization.
    2. Practical results show a fiber utilization rate 2% better than conventional cleaning lines.
    3. High cleaning efficiency and low loss of good fibers visible in waste inspection.
    4. Separation quality can be evaluated while the machine is producing.
  7. Condition and Operation
    1. Easy operation via VarioSet: two values entered directly on the machine control or adopted from the installation control.
    2. Settings are made automatically, also with the machine running.
    3. Reproducible settings offer convenience for frequent assortment changes.
