  1. Overview
    1. Two machines available for sale.
    2. If the customer wants to drill 2200 mm width, we can produce the machine (minimum 2 machines) with increased price (about 15%).
    3. 10 mm hole is no problem.
    4. 10 mm and up to 80 mm thickness is no problem (10 to 50 is not a problem).
    5. 50 mm vertical distance from center of hole to center of hole is not a problem.
    6. 50 mm horizontal distance from center of hole to center of hole is a problem; the smallest chuck that can be put on the bridge is 80 mm.
    7. The bed is 2000 mm and there are 26 chucks (76.9 mm), but the two end chucks do not go all the way to the end of the foam.
    8. The bridge moves sideways but the distance between the chucks is fixed because the chucks are driven mechanically and they cannot be individually moved sideways; they can be moved as a whole bridge but not individually.
    9. They can make 6, 8, 10, 12, 12, 18, 20 mm diameter holes.
    10. There are 26 chucks on the bridge.
    11. Bed is 2000 mm wide = 76.92 distance but they do not all go to the end of the foam; in reality the chucks are fixed.

    16. In case of drilling foam sheets loaded by bobbin, the work program can be continuously repeated by observing the gap between one drilling program and the next one.
    17. F26 drilling machine consists of a steel frame where no. 26 drilling chucks are placed and two conveyors for loading and unloading.
    18. In order to avoid that the mattress moves during working cycle, a manually adjusting little roller device is placed on the material to be holed.
    19. The foam is cored by the core drill, ejected by an air jet and evacuated by means of a conveyor belt.
    20. The chucks supported thrust yoke moves lateral (Y axis) and vertical (Z axis).
    21. It is possible to program both movements: the lateral movement of thrust yoke (Y axis) up to 100 mm (in this case we obtain two or more series of holes in the same line (Y pitch) and conveyor movement (X pitch) with infinity variable increments. The minimum distance between holes is 10 mm.
    22. It is also possible to program both straight drilling and crossed drilling.
    23. The machine is controlled by 4 axis and its movements are controlled by PLC.
    24. The keyboard is equipped with a multifunction control device where working data are loaded.
    25. A graphical window with alarm for wrong input helps operator to check the holes position.
    26. The multi-function control includes alarms diagnostic.
    27. The machine is equipped with a lubricating system device for the drills.
    28. High productivity as the result of one line of 26 drills (3 seconds to perform 1 drilling line along 2200 mm).
    29. Minimum 80 mm between holes (it is wrong: 80 mm is the space between drilling chucks but thanks to the lateral movement of thrust yoke the holes can be 10 mm distance).
    30. It does not drill latex; F26 was not built for latex because this material is just produced with holes inside. F26 was built just to produce holes in foam (less expensive) by using drilling tips 6 mm/28 mm diam. (customer can choose the hole diam.), and moreover, this machine does not need steel mold to be drilled.
    31. Minimum foam sheet thickness is 10 mm and the F26 does not drill latex.
