Construction
The C132 is a full steel construction.
Frame and knife device as well as cross girth are made from very strong profile iron and are electrically welded.
On the lower knife device is a double lower knife with adjustable slot width (one knife is swivelable) (German patent).
The upper knife is easy to change and is mounted into a planed knife holder.
There are also the down holders with their adjustable spring cylinders.
Before and after the knife device is a driven roller table, so that the material can go through the machine easily.
Cutting Mechanism
The cutting is controlled by an excentric bar.
The excentres (on the excentre bar) run the knife bar by excentric rods.
In the knife bar the sawtooth knife is clamped and the down holders are mounted.
The knife bar is guided straight by needle bearings.
If knife bar goes down, down holders touch the material first.
As soon as a special pre-tension of the spring controlled down holders is reached, the knife bar placed between the down holders takes action and cuts the material.
Drive is a geared brake motor which is connected to the excentre bar.
