NovaStar, PW114, Semi-Automatic Pillowcase Sewing System, 2 Sewing Stations, Overlock Machine, with Turner and Folder

Description

  1. Overview
    1. System sews the top hem (with or without piping) continuously, measures, cuts, folds in half and stacks the pillowcase.
    2. Stacks are then moved to a second sewing unit.
    3. The second machine is in the shape of an "L", meaning the product is placed on a conveying belt and passes through the first sewing station (overlock machine), then is conveyed at a right angle through a second sewing station (overlock machine) and then stacked.
    4. At this time the unit has been formed with the face side on the inside. It is then processed through a manual turning operation.
    5. The turned pillowcase is folded into a retail fold on a semiautomatic folding machine equipped with a label inserter.
  2. Operation
    1. Two operators are required: one handles the two sewing processes; the other operates the turner and folder.
    2. Average production for the combined processes is 10 units per minute.
