Overview
Produces joined mattress edge frames in one seamless operation.
Replaces a number of awkward, time-consuming tasks with one efficient operation.
This frame bender takes flat wire or round strip from the coil, straightens it, and forms it into complete joined frames for mattresses.
How It Works
The combined production manufacturing processes are accomplished in the following way:
Wire is fed from coil through feeding and straightening rollers.
Wire is measured to correct length for entire frame.
Wire is cut to length.
Wire is formed into continuous circular loop.
Ends are joined by clipping or welding.
Finally, the corners are formed where required to form the completed frame.
This unique machine can process three frames at the same time: one frame is in the process of straightening, measuring, cutting; a second one is in the process of welding/clipping; and the third one is in the bending process.
Joining Method
For use with high or low tensile wire or strip, this machine joins the frames by means of welding and/or by means of a steel clip produced by the machine itself.
The unique joining method ensures a secure joint that will not work loose.
Control System
The measuring, cutting, welding, clipping and corner forming are all controlled by an industrial microprocessor.
Housed in a robust, fan-ventilated cabinet, the electronic unit has a clear and easily read visual display.
Controls have been carefully devised with an ergonomic layout.
No computer skills are required.
Powered de-coiling stations for round wire or flat strip ensure smooth and accurate feeding of wires.
Two robust roller subassemblies ensure accurate feeding and excellent straightening.
The lower rollers of the straightening unit are powered, thus creating a positive, precise feeding force.
Wire marking is reduced to a minimum and roller life is maximized due to even power.
Adjustable counter-torsion (anti-twist) mechanism ensures control of wire twist regardless of wire quality (patented).
Diameter changes can be completed in less than two minutes, thanks to a carefully designed pre-setting system.
Unique three-step frame production with new join method (patented).
The innovative design of the combined clipping/welding system (patented) makes the wire ends simply inseparable.

Clipping strip dimensions both models: 30 mm x 1 mm; 1.19" x 0.04".
