Lirec, VZM 3.2, Mobile Pre-Shredding Machine, 20-60 t/h Capacity, Output Size < 300mm

Description

  1. Overview
    1. Hydraulic driven 2-shaft pre-shredder.
    2. Shredding principle: ripping, crushing and cutting.
    3. Shredding is independent of the turn direction of the shredding shaft.
    4. Different speed programs are installed in the controlling unit, optimized for specific input materials.
    5. Adjustment for customer-specific input materials is possible.
  2. Application and operating conditions
    1. Site of operation and installation: operation requires permission by the local authority; the ground must be hard surfaced (e.g. concrete, asphalt or similar); structural safety and soil resistivity must be warranted by the operator.
    2. Input material: mixed municipal waste, bulky waste, matured wood.
    3. Output size: < 300 mm / 90 weight%.
    4. Throughput capacity: 20 - 60 t/h (depending on input material).
    5. Specific density: 0.25 t/m³.
    6. Throughput capacity of approx. 35 t/h will be reached by a density of 0.25 t/m³ and mixed feeding under the following conditions: pre-shredder is permanently filled and does not coast; only shreddable input material and no input material which produces blockages or permanent reversing (e.g. big iron parts, ropes); no mono-charges, mixed waste; correct maintenance, service and operating according to the operating manual; density measured as in the input feeding hopper.
    7. The values of the throughput capacity are absolute different for bulky waste and rest waste depending on the input material.
    8. Mode of operation: regularly 2-shifts.
  3. Method of function
    1. Every shredding shaft has shredding teeth similar to rip hooks and can rotate with different speeds and orientations depending on the chosen speed program.
    2. Shredding takes place by: crushing at the lateral sites of the shredding tools, ripping of the shredding tools, cutting between shredding tool and counter knife.
    3. Size of the output material depends on: number of shredding teeth on the shredding shaft, distance between the shredding tools, distance between shredding tool and counter knife.
    4. Throughput capacity is basically defined by the geometry of the shredding teeth (number, width, shredding shaft length, etc.) and the drive (installed power, max. torque, speed).
    5. Increasing wear of the shredding unit supports the part of over-length in the output material.
    6. Safety: the shredding shafts reverse in case of a pressure of more than 350 bar in the hydraulic system, measured by pressure sensor, to avoid overload; the shredding shafts turn then in the counter direction for an adjusted time period and the input material will be new positioned; after that the shredding shafts turn anew in the original turn direction; if the number of defined replays exceeds, the controller switches off the shredding shaft drive for protection of shredding tools and counter knives.
  4. Scope of supply
    1. Length: 6.890 mm.
    2. Width: 2.510 mm.
    3. Height: 3.300 mm.
    4. Weight: approx. 24 tons.
    5. Transport dimensions of crawler version (without options).
  5. Technical documentation
    1. Includes in English two hard copies and one digital version by pdf-files.
    2. Operating and maintenance manuals.
    3. Electrical drawings.
    4. Hydraulic drawing.
  6. Coloring
    1. Different parts of the pre-shredder are grit blasted after machining, coated by a rust prevention basic layer (> 50 micron) and after that coated by the final lacquer (epoxy color, > 80 micron).
    2. Standard color for crushing unit, hopper, frame: blue RAL 5015.
    3. Standard color for conveyor, frame outside: red RAL 3020.
    4. Standard color for hydraulic aggregate inside: grey RAL 7032.
    5. On inquiry, other colours and paintings are possible as well.
  7. Drive system Lirec VZM 3.2
    1. Every shredding shaft is driven by an axial-piston-adjustable hydraulic motor in combination with a multilevel planetary gearbox.
    2. Drive unit is connected by the shredding shaft and supported against the base frame by a torque support.
    3. Power control allows continuous working of the caterpillar diesel engine close to the optimum operating point.
    4. Drive units are charged by axial-piston-hydraulic-pumps and can compensate load peaks into a defined range, reducing the number and amount of fuel consumption intensive load peaks for economical operation.
    5. Oil tank is equipped with a level- and temperature switch, thermostat, thermometer, fill in and breather filter and return flow filter.
    6. Space positioning of the components of the drive system is optimized with main focus for easy execution of service and maintenance.
    7. Engine: Caterpillar, C13, Tier IIIA.
    8. Engine power: 354 kW.
    9. Engine speed: 1850 rpm.
    10. Hydraulic pump: 2 x Bosch Rexroth axial-piston-adjustable pump.
    11. Pressure (max.): 350 bar.
    12. Planetary gearbox: 3-levels.
    13. Hydraulic motor: 2 x Bosch Rexroth axial-piston-adjustable motor.
    14. Torque per shredding shaft: 125.000 Nm.
    15. Speed shredding shaft: variable max. 30 rpm.
  8. Crushing unit
    1. Owns two independent from each other turning shredding shafts.
    2. Replacement of the shredding shafts is by the use of two shaft flanges quite easy possible without dismantling of the shaft bearings and the feeding hopper.
    3. Shaft bearings are outside of the shredding area and protected by the shaft flanges against cuttings (e.g. wire).
    4. Output size is defined by the number of shredding teeth on the shredding shaft.
    5. Shredding teeth are inserted off the shredding shaft and welded on both lateral sides.
    6. High quality shredding shafts are tempered and checked by ultra-sonic examination.
    7. Between the shredding teeth are some welding lines as a wear protection.
    8. Number of shredding shafts: 2 pieces.
    9. Crushing unit length x width: 2935 x 1740 mm.
    10. Turn direction: independent.
    11. Shredding teeth per shredding shaft: 8 pieces, depending on output size.
    12. Width of shredding teeth: 80 mm.
    13. Output size: approx. 0-300 mm, over-lengths are admissible.
    14. Crushing unit is equipped with central lubrication, which delivers the optimized amount of grease for the main bearings shredding shafts.
    15. Central lubrication advantages: additional barrier against dirt and liquids, regularly and permanent lubrication, prevention against dry running, life time extension for the main bearings, lower operating and maintenance costs.
