Strecker, S 6-PN, Electric Buttwelding Machine, 6 kVA, 2.0-8.0mm Steel Wire Capacity

Description

  1. Overview
    1. Electric butt welding machine, Strecker type S 6-PN
    2. Nominal capacity: 6 kVA
    3. Arranged for butt welding of steel wires
    4. Single welds: 2.0 - 8.0 mm diameter
    5. Mass welds (high output): 2.0 - 6.0 mm diameter
  2. Clamping And Alignment
    1. Watercooled, robust pneumatic clamping device
    2. Left-hand side clamping device adjustable in vertical and horizontal plane for exact alignment of material ends
    3. Parallel movement of the right-hand, movable clamping side via an easy-going, robust and maintenance-free roller guide
    4. Clamping is effected by a double foot switch; both material ends are clamped simultaneously
  3. Welding And Annealing Cycle
    1. Once wire ends are clamped, the butt welding cycle starts automatically
    2. Welding and annealing current regulated by step switch
    3. Upsetting cycle operated pneumatically
    4. One time relay each for cooling-off time after welding and after the annealing cycle, before opening of clamping device
    5. Annealing cycle regulated by a specific time relay
  4. Machine Operation Modes
    1. Mode 1: Weld two material ends, then after cooling-off period the welded joint (with burr still on wire) is automatically annealed on the length remaining between clamping jaws; annealing length automatically results from jaw distance after welding; then unclamped
    2. Mode 2: Butt weld a certain number of parts and unclamp from welder; then all parts are deburred (tools to be provided by end user); subsequently clamp again into the off-set ("stepped") part of clamping jaws to be annealed on a longer distance
  5. Condition And Included Items
    1. Unit is ready for operation, in stationary version
    2. One set of clamping jaws for welding and annealing is included in the machine base price
  6. Utility Requirements
    1. Needs to be connected to a cooling water supply system
    2. Needs to be connected to compressed air at 6 bar
